What is the Cat's Eye? A beautiful spectacle captured by the Hubble space telescope, this bright nebula features bright knots, jets, bubbles and complex arcs, being illuminated by the central point. It was discovered in 1786. This planetary nebula was formed about 1000 years ago by a dying star, originally about 5 times the mass of the sun. Observations suggest the star ejected its mass in a series of pulses at 1,500-year intervals. It is located in the constellation Draco, in the Northern Hemisphere. It is one of the most complex planetary known nebulae. This complex planetary nebula Amazing!.
