Glass Eye Studio - Celestial Full Moon

Shrouded in misty clouds, the moon shines through pale and lovely. A stunning paperweight and/or decorative piece of art, The Celestial Full Moon Paperweight is part of the Celestial Planet Collection.  It makes a wonderful gift for both personal and corporate occasions, or it can be the perfect addition to your own Glass Eye Studio Collection.

The designers and the craftsmen from Glass Eye Studio have captured a glowing full moon high in the sky peeking from windswept clouds. From quiet contemplation to hand held walks in the moonlight this paperweight captures the romance and mystery of the night sky.

3" wide in diameter, it comes in a beautiful velvet keepsake box with a story card that tells its unique tale.  A combination of powerful colours, the white Full Moon rounded by lots of black and blue, imagination, art and creativity, this Glass Eye Studio Celestial paperweight is indeed a piece of art.  There is a special effect on this dichroic glass that makes it change colour when it reflects or transmits light.

All Glass Eye Studio products are handmade and individually crafted by artists.  They are made with the ash from Mount St. Helens volcano eruption (in Washington state) that occurred at 8:32:17 A.M. on Sunday, May 18, 1980.

The Full Moon, Earth's only natural satellite has drawn for ages the focus of man. A full moon is the lunar phase that occurs when the Moon is completely illuminated as seen from the Earth. Lunar eclipses can occur only at full moon. Full moons are traditionally associated with temporal insomnia (inability to sleep), insanity (hence the terms lunacy and lunatic). Native Americans first used full moons to keep track of seasons.  A romantic walk under the full moon!
